When making decisions, Councillors and Town Staff are guided by Policies – some public and some not. Council can make exceptions to policies but these are done by Council in open session regular Council meetings.
Policies are not generally made public by the Town in the same way as are by-laws – but here are some selected policies. According to the Town web site, these Policies are in effect January 2025.
