The Route for Parades in Cobourg is along King Street between the Library at five corners (Corner of King and William) and D'Arcy Street. Parades generally end at Victoria Park although may continue to D'Arcy so they can "unload" at Donegan Park.
There are generally two Parades each year: Canada Day and for Santa Claus. The next Parade using this route is the Canada Day parade on 1 July, 2026 at 11:00 am

Canada Day Parade 1 July 2025 - Road Closure Information:
- Tuesday, July 1, only: King Street from William Street to D’Arcy Street will be closed starting at 7 am until the Canada Day Parade is complete. Please note there is no parking overnight on King Street from Monday, June 30 to Tuesday, July 1. Cars remaining on King Street along the parade route on July 1 will be ticketed and towed..
Alternative Route for Highway 2
Eastward. Instead of turning south on William street, continue along Elgin to Brook Street. Go south on Brook and turn left to rejoin Highway 2.
Westward. At Brook street turn right and go north to Elgin. Turn left and rejoin Highway 2 at William.
