For the next election, Cobourg will be in the Riding of Northumberland-Clarke - formerly Northumberland-Peterborough South. This was formed after a re-distribution in 2023. See below for more on re-distribution.
But until the next election, the Riding is still Northumberland-Peterborough South.

Northumberland-Peterborough South
In 2021, incumbent Conservative M.P. Philip Lawrence won with a big majority although Liberals were returned nationally with a minority Government. The next scheduled election will be in October 2025 although with the resignation of PM Justin Trudeau, it's now expected in April 2025.
Liberal Leader race
With Trudeau's resignation, the Federal Liberal Party held a leadership race with a vote on March 9, 2025.
Mark Carney won with 86% of the vote. Trudeau has now resigned and Carney has been sworn in and announced his cabinet picks. He is expected to call an election soon although parliament has been prorogued to 24 March.
Redistribution
At the next election, the boundaries will be changed. The new boundary is basically the same except it excludes Peterborough-South - that's Northumberland plus a small extension in the West. It is called Northumberland-Clarke.
